My name is Roo Jaxkson lead singer for the "Street Jaxkson Band. Bill Whitehead and I formed the band in 2010.  In February of 2019 our "Smoochie Man" album was featured on the Tonight's Show with Jimmy Fallon. Bill and I love blues and funk with a mixture of rock n roll. I was born in Lexington Mississippi where I grew up listening to Muddy Waters, BB King, Howling Wolf, Chuck Berry, James Brown, Jimmy Reed and Elmore James. The band members are Bill Whitehead, lead guitar & vocals, Bass, Larry Williams & Derek Lamorgese and drums Jay Wil. We have performed for many nightclubs and we are known around Chicago as a Corporate choice band. Merchandise Mart, JB Hunt, Dreshler Designs, The Italian Trade Agency, Corinthian Yacht Club etc.  we are an energetic blues variety band that rocks. 312-697-9163
